Yoruba Community In Enugu Gets First Oba
The Yoruba community in Enugu State has unanimously selected Alhaji Abdulazeez Adebayo as their first-ever traditional ruler, marking a significant milestone. Adebayo, who hails from Osun State, was chosen for his strong character and long-standing service to the community. His selection followed a rigorous process, with candidates evaluated on their integrity and ability to represent the Yoruba people in Enugu. Despite earlier leadership tussles, Adebayo’s deep roots and experience within the community made him the ideal choice. He called for unity and encouraged other Yorubas in the state to join the fold.
