On August 24, six individuals were detained by authorities in the Oshodi area of Lagos State for the inappropriate act of urinating on the rail tracks. This incident occurred in front of the Nigerian Army Shopping Complex, Arena, Oshodi. Tokunboh Wahab, the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, took to his X account to provide details on the matter. He reported:

“Earlier today, six offenders were apprehended for the act of open urination on the rail tracks situated in front of the Nigerian Army Shopping Complex, Arena, Oshodi. This action is part of our ongoing efforts to maintain public cleanliness and uphold environmental standards.”
