Three suspects have been arrested by the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly possessing suspected human tongues. The suspects were caught on October 15 during a routine stop-and-search operation on Otedola Bridge, where they were found with the human parts in a taxi.

Police spokesman SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrest and stated that investigations revealed the third suspect, from whom the parts were purchased, was linked to Oyingbo Market in Lagos. An ongoing investigation is taking place at the command headquarters, and the suspects will be arraigned if found culpable.
