The Lagos State Government has condemned the rising trend of hoodlums attacking passengers and vandalizing Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) buses. Mr. Idowu Oguntona, Managing Director of Lagos Bus Services Limited (LBSL), described these attacks as alarming, unacceptable, and intolerable. In a recent incident, a bus with 35 passengers was attacked by a mob at the Ore-Ofe bus stop, leading to assaults, stabbings, and robberies. Oguntona assured that the government is committed to ensuring the safety of residents and bringing the perpetrators to justice. He warned that such acts will not be tolerated, and legal measures will be taken to protect the public.
