Enugu Set To Construct 300-Bed International Hospital

The Enugu State Government is constructing a 300-bed ultramodern quaternary health facility, named the Enugu International Hospital, as part of its effort to reverse medical tourism and enhance the state’s appeal for business and living. The hospital will provide advanced medical services, research, and training, making it a key medical hub in the region. The government is also scaling up its efforts to control the Mpox disease, focusing on public awareness and prevention.
Additionally, the state is expediting the implementation of the Enugu State Geographic Information System Service Law 2024 to digitize land administration. This will streamline the process of obtaining Certificates of Occupancy, making property more bankable and enhancing land value, contributing to the state’s economic growth.
